Our adventure begins in Uyuni City with a visit to the Train Cemetery, a historic site where abandoned locomotives preserve the legacy of Bolivia's railway history. We then continue to the Colchani Community, where you'll learn about the traditional salt extraction and processing methods that have been passed down through generations.
As we enter the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, we will visit the Ojos del Salar, natural saltwater springs that emerge from beneath the salt crust. We will then continue to the Dakar Monument, Flags Square (Plaza de Banderas), and the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, the first hotel built entirely from salt blocks within the Uyuni Salt Flats.
At midday, we will enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the endless white landscape of the salt flats. After lunch, we'll have a fun perspective photography session, taking advantage of the unique scenery to create incredible optical illusion photos. Later, we will visit Incahuasi Island during the dry season, or the Salt Monuments during the rainy season, depending on the conditions of the salt flats.
Wrap up your adventure with a breathtaking sunset, where golden hues reflect off the salt, creating a mesmerizing mirror effect. Capture unforgettable moments before returning to Uyuni around 7:30 PM. Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Meals Included: Picnic Lunch | Dinner

Our adventure begins in Uyuni City as we head toward the breathtaking landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano. Our first stop will be Pampa Colorada and the Rock Valley, where we will admire impressive geological formations sculpted by wind erosion over thousands of years. We will then continue to the village of Tomave to visit its historic colonial church, one of the region’s most important historical landmarks.
At midday, we will enjoy a picnic lunch in Tomave before continuing to Kota Vinto Lagoon, a peaceful refuge for a variety of Andean bird species. Later, we will visit the China Kasilla and Orko Kasilla Lagoons, known as the Lesser Green Lagoon, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.
Our next stop will be the Kañqui Hot Springs, where you can relax in natural thermal waters while enjoying the Andean landscape. We will then visit the Ojo de Pez Wetlands, home to vicuñas, llamas, and other native wildlife of the Altiplano.
To conclude our adventure, we will visit Pulacayo, a historic mining town that preserves vintage locomotives and buildings that recall Bolivia’s mining heritage. After a day filled with nature, history, and unique landscapes, we will return to Uyuni City with unforgettable memories of this Andean experience.
Meals Included: Breakfast | Picnic Lunch
Mirror Effect: The mirror effect is most likely to occur during the rainy season, from January to June, when a thin layer of water covers the salt flats. During the dry season (July to December), it is less likely to be seen, as it depends on the amount of rainfall each year. The mirror effect cannot be guaranteed.
Incahuasi Island Access: During the rainy season (December to March), access to Incahuasi Island may be restricted due to high water levels. In this case, we will visit the Salt Monuments instead, while enjoying the spectacular mirror effect, where the salt flats perfectly reflect the sky, creating an unforgettable setting for photography.
Weather Conditions: During the rainy season, weather conditions in the Uyuni Salt Flats can change quickly. The tour may start with rain and then clear up, or rain may occur during the experience. Cloudy skies can reduce star visibility, so stargazing conditions cannot always be guaranteed.

We had a wonderful experience on the sunset tour. Everything was very well organized, from the pickup to the activities. The views were stunning, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
It was an amazing experience. The sunset at the Uyuni Salt Flats was absolutely breathtaking, with incredible landscapes and beautiful colors. Everything was very well organized and the guide was very friendly. I highly recommend this tour.
Omar our driver and guide really make our trip a memorable one. Highly recommended
Our guide did a great job of giving my family and I a special time out on the Uyuni salt flats. Unfortunately I left my expensive tripod in the vehicle and didn’t realize this until early the next morning as I was packing to catch a flight. Efrain was kind enough to drop it off at the Hotel that I was staying at. I’m very happy with the experience and the responsiveness of the staff. It was definitely worth the money.
We are lucky to see the good reflection.
Quite nice. Took a lot of pictures though the weather was not so good.
