SUNSET & STARLIGHTS IN UYUNI

Experience the magic of the Uyuni Salt Flats on our unique Sunset and Starlight Tour. Watch the sunset over the salt flats and take photos of the optical illusions created by the white salt. Then, watch the stars come out in the night sky.

We start with pick-up at the Uyuni hotel (4:00 p.m.) to enter the Salar de Uyuni. Where we will wait for the sunset, while taking pictures. After reaching the privileged point, we will begin to appreciate the immensity of the Milky Way and we will be able to take pictures with a very beautiful starry background.

To ensure your comfort during this unique experience, we provide wellies and waterproof ponchos so you can fully enjoy the mirror effect without worries. Plus, we offer hot coffee to keep you warm and awake while you watch the most spectacular sunrise you’ve ever seen.

Don’t miss this perfect moment to capture unique images in the white saline landscape before returning to Uyuni around 8:00 p.m.

Note: The entire salt esplanade is very reflective and in the rainy season (from December to May), there is a small layer of water that gives it a mirror effect. Our star excursions are normally carried out throughout the year, except on full moon days, since the brightness of the full moon obscures the stars, preventing their visibility.
